Title; [1/4] Jules’s Diary The title isn’t very original nor does it reel me in that much. Granted, I don’t usually pay a lot of attention to the titles of other people’s diaries (because most times, the creators of the templates make one up for it and most people don’t bother to change it). But apparently your title is one done by you.
Username; [3/5] jules9-. It’s different; I couldn’t figure out exactly why you chose that name, but oh well. It’s not too bad, but if I’d come across it in the d-land member directory, I’m not sure I’d click on it.
First Impression; [5/5] First thing I thought of was “bad ass”. I guess that’s due to your template. I also thought of somebody hard-core and doesn’t take any bull from anybody.
Template; [8/10] I thought your template was really cute. I used to play with Barbies all the time when I was younger and now I collect them. So, I got a chuckle from your template. I’m not a huge fan of the color, but I guess that helps to set off the tone of the layout. I’m not sure if it’s something I’d pick out for myself, but it seems to do a good job of expressing who you are.

Likes[3/3] How mostly everything is organized; I also like the template.
Dislikes[2/3] I can’t find myself relating to you very much, but since it’s your diary, that doesn’t really matter.
Content; [20/25] Although I don’t relate to you with much of anything, you still remind me of other people I know. I noticed your entries are mainly full of what you do each day, which I admit is one of my weaknesses as well. It’s tough to add emotion and “drama” to every entry when there’s no such thing to talk about. So, I can’t exactly harp on you about day-logging when I’m guilty of the same thing. I realize it gets tedious and with a short attention span, then it becomes more difficult to follow. Overall, keep up with what you’re doing; if you want to talk about your day, there shouldn’t be anything wrong with that. I guess the only thing I can suggest is to skip over the play-by-play details; I’ve been trying to do that myself (although it’s difficult since the details can be a major part of the story).
I definitely got the impression of a typical 17 year-old in your diary, which is a good thing – it’s nice to come across a diary and see somebody act their age (most times, you see young people who try to act a lot older than they are or vice-versa). It seems like you have a lot going on in your life, at least there seems to be something you have to talk about in every entry. At least your day-logging isn’t overly boring or tedious.
Errors; [5/5] Everything seemed to work okay and there was nothing that really made me stop and want to fix it myself.
Navigation; [8/10] There seems to be a lot of links for the navigation, so it can be a little confusing. I see you have an “extras” page, so maybe some of those can be moved to there. Other than that, your navigation wasn’t too messy.
Favorite Entry; [5/5] This one. Out of the recent entries I looked over, this entry seemed to hold the most emotion and thought. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Profile; [2/5] Very plain, simple…to the point.
Sole Entry; [8/15] You were very basic with your sole entry; it seemed like you got right to the point with the parts you did include, which is fine. I felt like I didn’t get to learn more about you through that particular entry. It wouldn’t usually matter to me, but since the sole entry is the main focus of this site, I have to be sure to take it into consideration. Good job anyhow.

I was initially anxious to review your diary considering I thought the template was cute. Your writing skills aren’t the strongest I’ve ever seen, but it’s certainly not the worst. Nobody’s perfect and goodness knows we all have room for improvement. I hope you don’t get the wrong impression from this particular review; I did enjoy reviewing your diary and found you to be interesting nonetheless.
